Job description: Snow removal Small equipment repair knowledge Must be able to work outside in all conditions Full cleaning and disinfecting of washrooms Full cleaning of building including: hallways, offices, common areas and entrance ways Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming of floors Dusting furniture and fixtures Emptying garbage and recycling receptacles; pick up debris
Job Requirements: Must be available early mornings Reliable and professional attitude Experience with floor machines (auto scrubbers and swing machines) Experience with small equipment repair Proven track record with attendance and punctuality Previous cleaning experience Self-starter and person who shows initiative Attention to detail First aid and CPR is an asset WHMIS knowledge is an asset Must have clear criminal record.
Wage: $14 to $15/hour Looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Construction Technology Training Instructor
Pathways Skill Development has an available position for a Construction Technology Training Instructor. In this role you will be responsible for all elements of a program designed to give individuals the necessary theory and hands-on skills for entry level employment in the construction field. You will have the daily opportunity to move people forward to confidence and self-sustainability. You will also provide expertise and support to Pathways’ social enterprise endeavors related to the construction field.
You bring 5-7 years’ experience in the construction industry along with related training experience. You have current knowledge of industry processes, technology, building code and regulations. In addition, you are competent in a wide number of construction skills including carpentry, electrical and plumbing. Along with these hard skills, you have the ability to communicate the “soft” skills required for success in the workplace. Your certification to teach Working at Heights is an important asset as well.
In this role you will have the opportunity to, facilitate training sessions, improve and update curriculum, coach and mentor participants and participate in the meaningful work of assisting individuals to Build New Futures. Learn more about this position
