Program Length: 8 weeks
Participants will learn the essential skills and gain the certifications needed to succeed in the warehouse and manufacturing industry. Through group work, hands-on projects and the supportive Pathways environment, participants learn social skills and soft skills to ensure they are employment ready.

- Shipping and receiving
- Confined space awareness training
Certifications Graduates receive the certifications essential to attaining employment and working safely in the warehouse and manufacturing industry.
- Forklift Operators
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
- Basic Fall Protection
- First Aid and CPR
- Worker Health and Safety Awareness
Participants will complete a one-week co-op placement in the manufacturing, warehouse industry
Course Facilitator: Shane Jack
Shane has worked in manufacturing for more than 25 years. He has held roles from material handling and forklift operator, to shipper/ receiver and order picker. Shane brings experience with all of these processes to the classroom, teaching his students through hands-on activities and in class lessons. Shane also has a background in construction management and brings added logistics and equipment safety skills to the course. In his spare time Shane coaches hockey and soccer.
